There are many good things to say about my wife and I's experience at The Brick Oven! The owner was super polite, very helpful in answering our questions, upbeat, quick about getting our meal to us, and my drink was never empty! My wife and I shared their bread appetizer with garlic and pesto...wow! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and it was awesome! My wife had the Great Garlic pizza and it was fantastic! It was so good we had it for leftovers for supper! We finished off our meal with a piece of Tiramisu! It was a good portion and tasted better than most others we have had. If there were a disappointment, it would be that we did not have enough room to physically eat more...we were so stuffed! 100% reccomend! Very pleased!!
From the moment we walked in, Tina was there. She quickly recognized that we were road weary, and had us seated in no time. The food was outstanding, both the Cajun shrimp tortellini and the stuffed seafood ravioli are winners! The place is quaint and romantic and right on the historic strip in the heart of Hannibal.
Discovering this great gem was a pleasure, a big plus on our road trip. I loved it! Service was great and the finish product on the table was super delicious.
Food was delicious and faith, our waitress was very friendly, she had several tables and was working so hard. We had a party of 6 and ordered the meat calzone, spaghetti and meatballs, seafood melody, Cajun tortellini with shrimp, jumbo seafood ravioli, and manicotti. Last but not least, tiramisu. The best was probably the Cajun tortellini and the calzone, but everything was AMAZING!!
About a year and a 1/2 ago we decided to go on a weekend trip down to Hannibal. And stumbled onto this restaurant while looking for gluten free pizza. Our pizza was so, incredibly delicious. And if they would have been open in the morning we would have stopped on our way from the hotel back home to pick up another one. In the intervening year every now and then we would think, Oh my god , we wish we had pizza from the brick oven. So, we got back there about ten months later, ate pizza and guess what? It was still super fab and now that I'm writing the review on it.I wish we had one right now.
Cozy Italian restaurant located in the heart of Hannibal. Enjoy your favorite pasta dishes, brick oven pizzas, as well as a gluten-free option for crust! They have a great wine selection as well. Staff are friendly and the space is very clean.
The place is cozy, the food is good. The wine it’s amazing. In general I like it. I’m sure I’m coming back soon.
My partner and I had the bruschetta, garlic pizza, and cheesecake with raspberry drizzle which was fantastic! We didn’t even stop to take pictures before eating. The bruschetta was super light, a perfect appetizer. Only needed a bit more toast! The garlic pizza was loaded with the toppings and has become a new favorite! Our server was super nice and helpful with suggestions when we were sure what to order. The inside of the building is so clean and organized as well. We had a great experience!
